Dr. Alexander Egusquiza brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to pulmonary medicine. Born and raised in Miami and an alumnus of the University of Miami, Dr. Egusquiza continued his studies in medicine at Rush University in Chicago for his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Egusquiza specializes in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, respiratory tract infections, sleep apnea, and lung cancer.  His particular area of interest lies in interstitial lung diseases, such as autoimmune lung diseases and pulmonary fibrosis. He is also trained in endoscopic procedures used for diagnosis and biopsy of nodules, lung cancers, and infections.
