Dr. Cristobal Risquez is a board certified pulmonary and critical care physician who practiced as an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Risquez is originally from Venezuela and received his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2008. He completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2015. He then went on to complete his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Risquez is currently affiliated with Baptist Hospital of Miami and South Miami Hospital.
He specializes in pulmonary diseases including asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and sleep medicine. Dr. Risquez is fluent in English and Spanish.
