Rosy began working with Miami Pulmonary Specialists in 2018. She is a dual board-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care and Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Raised in Miami, Florida, she received her undergraduate degree from Barry University. She then received her graduate degree from the University of Miami and has specialized in Pulmonary and Critical Care. Rosy helped establish the first Critical Care APRN position at South Miami Hospital. In 2017, Rosy was bestowed the South Miami Hospital’s APRN of the Year award. She has also been a lecturer and presenter at national nursing conferences on topics such as infection prevention and post cardiac surgery clinical pathways. In her free time, Rosy enjoys playing the piano with a focus on classical repertoire.
